Borderlands provides strong coop gameplay both on and offline. Gearbox often gives a nod to contemporary culture and gives a little giggle to it's players. The best thing about this game is the expansive world and weapon/battle system. The weapons available through quests, general drops, & the commerce grid offer a wide and varied game play experience. The biggest down side is the lack of connection to the characters. Though the characters have different classes and personalities, they lack background and depth. Overall...I've played the thing about 3 times, I better like it.
